Materials
Students need to bring their laptop, calculator, binder and pencil to class everyday.
Grading
Student grades will be based on the completion of notes, homework, handouts, projects, quizzes and exams.
Assessments (tests, quizzes, projects, etc.) will count for 80% of the grade
Other (homework, notes, etc.) will count for 20% of the grade.

Homework
It is very important for homework to be complete for students to be successful in this class. Homework will usually be assigned every night. It will be graded on accuracy and/or completion. Homework is due at the beginning of the class period and is considered late if not complete at that time.
Policies
- All late Unit assignments must be turned in before the Unit Test to receive partial credit.
- It is the student's responsibility to get all missed material (notes, homework, quiz, test) the day they return to school from the teacher regardless of the reason for the absence.
- If a student missed the day of test/quiz, the student must make arrangements to make up the test before/after school before the next chapter test or receive a zero.
- Unexcused absence: student will receive no credit for missed homework, assignments, tests and quizzes.
- Suspension: Student must turn in all assignments missed the day he/she returns to class to receive credit.
- CHEATING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!!!! All students involved will receive a zero.
Retake Policy
Students will be allowed to retake a Unit Test within one week of receiving the original test grade. To be eligible to retake a test, students must make corrections on the original test before/after school. The final grade will be the average between the original and retake scores.
